Darrel Alexander Madre, beloved son of the late Walter and Gloria Justice Madre, was born on Saturday, June 18, 1955 in Whitesville, Virginia. He was called to rest on Friday, June 2, 2017 surrounded his children.
Darrel received his education in the Accomack County School System. He enjoyed talking and always had a vivid imagination. I guess you would say for people who didn’t know him would believe every word, but for those that knew him took what he said with a grain of salt.
Darrel was employed by the Greenbush Moving Company for over thirty-five years and after his retirement he would always find something to do. He would do odd and ends jobs, but his passion was detailing cars.
In addition to his parents Darrel was preceded in death by two sisters, Bonnie Madre and Eva Geraldine Barnes; and two brothers, Walter and Norris Madre.
Darrel’s memories and love will forever be held deep within our hearts by his children: Kayona (Carlos) Rodriguez of Parksley, VA, Heather Hinmon of Horntown, VA, and Devan Hinmon of Mappsville, VA; five grandchildren, Kevin, Anthony, Christopher, Jayden, and Lundyn; one sister, Beverly White; one brother, James Madre, both of Parksley, VA; three nieces, Angela (Tyrone) Upshur, Shonta Godwin, and Markeisha Chandler; three nephews, Jeff (Barbara) Madre, Shawn Madre, and James Godwin; a very special and close friend for over twenty years, Carolyn Brown; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and close friends.
