Obituary for Calvin "Pant" Tull
Deacon Calvin Tull, Sr., beloved son of the late Hollis and Nettie Tull, was born on February 25, 1935 in Atlantic, Virginia. He peacefully departed this life on Friday, February 9, 2018 at his home.
Calvin received his education in Accomack County. He started working at an early age. Calvin’s last place of employment was at Broadwater Sand and Gravel, as a truck driver. Calvin worked until he was seventy-seven. He worked as a truck driver for other companies for many years prior.
Calvin attended Shiloh Baptist Church in Atlantic, Virginia, where he was a faithful member. He served on the usher board and later became a deacon. Calvin enjoyed watching baseball and Western movies. He also enjoyed fishing with his family.
Calvin was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Hollis Tull Jr.; two sons, Robert Lee Tull, Sr. and Calvin Tull, Jr.; daughter, Karen Fiddemon; and granddaughter, Tayanna Brown.
Left to cherish his precious memories are: his wife, Cynthia Tull of Atlantic, VA; children, Keith (Sylvia) Fiddemon of Accomac, VA, Kevin (Deloris) Fiddemon of Temperanceville, VA, Tony Fiddemon of Oak Hall, VA, Shalinda Rowley of Pocomoke, MD, and Vanecia (Derrick) Parker of Nassawadox, VA; eleven grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; two great, great-grandchildren; four sisters, Billie Jean Johnson of Wattsville, VA, Terry Seymour of Wattsville, VA, Nettie Mae (James) Laws of NJ, and Vanessa (Theodore) Drummond of Atlantic, VA; one brother, Mitchell (Marsha) Tull of Onancock, VA; two brothers-in-law, James (Barbara) Brown of Fairview, VA and Gregory (Bernice) Brown of Eastville, VA; one sister-in-law, Deborah Lane of Cheriton, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
