Hosea Matthew Davis departed this life suddenly on Monday, July 15, 2019 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 30, 1971 in Nassawadox, Virginia to Joseph and Emma Sue Davis. He attended the Accomack County Public Schools and graduated from Nandua High School in Onley, Virginia.

Hosea accepted Christ at an early and rededicated his life and joined Shiloh Baptist Church with his family. On September 14, 1996 he married his love, Kia Turner. The couple raised three children, Larry, Vitisha, and Emiya, his baby girl.
Hosea had many passions throughout his life. He loved traveling, eating at various restaurants, and he relished his relationship with the Dallas Cowboys. He was a mobile detailer and window tinting specialist, whom everybody knew and respected. Hosea was known back in the day for his red Chevy Blazer, which displayed his banner, “I Got it Made.” There was never someone that Hosea met that was a stranger. He had a beaming personality and always wore a smile.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Davis and Emma Sue Davis.
Hosea leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Kia; children, Larry, Vitisha, and Emiya; granddaughter, Liberty; brother, Anthony (Deon); mother-in-law and father-in-law, Barbara and Charlie; nephew, Kendrick; niece, Kentoria; two great-nephews; two great-nieces; sister-in-law, Renelda; two adopted sons, Ty’Riq McCray and Wayne Parker; and a host of special friends.
