With deep sorrow we acknowledge the loss of our beloved brother, Russell William Savage. He was the son of the late Prealo Bradley Savage, Sr. and Rose Jean Collins Savage. He departed this life on December 28, 2019 at his residence.

Russell was educated in the public schools of Accomack County. He was employed as a supervisor at Tyson Foods for over twenty-five years. He loved his job and never missed a day.
Russell was a loving brother, uncle, father-figure, and friend. He had a laugh that would brighten anyone’s day. He loved to read and eat. If you called him and asked if he wanted a plate, his reply would be “Ooohh Yeah!”
He will be missed dearly by his earthly family, but we know he will be cared for by his heavenly family.
In addition to his parents, Russell was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Savage Crippen and brother, Prealo Bradley Savage, Jr.
Russell leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving sister, Florence Savage; brothers, Marvin (Alice) Savage, Calvin (Ana Mae) Savage, and Ervin Savage; very special godson, who was like a son, Rev. Dr. Michael Robinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
