James, affectionately know as “Cookie Monster,” was educated in the public schools of Accomack County. He was the life of the party. Whenever he was in your presence, there was never a dull moment.
Cookie Monster lived life to its fullest, not letting any of the world’s stresses bother him. He loved to dance and joke all the time. He would always say, “I am the Cookie Monster, the one and only Cookie Monster. Family and friends will miss, yet always remember him for that expression.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories: three sisters, Gladys (Charlie) Corbin, Agnes Northan, both of Parksley, VA, and Teresa Davis of Temperanceville, VA; two brothers, Cornell West of Nelsonia, VA and Charles (Cynthia) Williams of Laurel, DE; two god-daughters, T’onna Cropper and Charity Cropper, both of Parksley, VA; special friends, Maryshell Pepper of Exmore, VA, Willa (Candy) Brent of Princess Anne, MD, Cindy Byrd of Suffolk, VA, and Jarrid (Willie Mae) Cropper of Parksley, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
