Kendrell Lybryant White, affectionately known as “Skoot,” was born on December 23, 1986 in Stamford, Connecticut to Kendall Bibbins and Kimberly White. He received his wings on August 10, 2020 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, Virginia.

“Skoot,” was a 2005 graduate of Green Run High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In 2006, he joined the Army National Guard, he served for a short term due to his health issues. He also worked for Perdue Farms in Accomac, Virginia.

“Skoot” was a die-hard San Francisco 49ers fan. He also loved Kobe Bryant. He had a great love for sports, but his greatest love was for his children. He enjoyed spending time with them and he always made sure all of their needs were met.

“Skoot” was preceded in death by his son, Kingston White; grandmothers, Pauline Pitts White and Cora Lee Savage; and grandfathers, William James White and Roland Matthews.

He leaves to celebrate and cherish his memories: one daughter, Kyasia White; two sons, Kendrell White, Jr. and Kamari White, all of Exmore, VA; three brothers, Fondrell White of Westover, MD, Derek Strand, Jr. of Hampton, VA, and Daryl Bibbins of Accomac, VA; two sisters, Akilah White of New Church, VA and Ashley Bibbins of Norfolk, VA; grandmother, Elaine (Barry) Mears; special friend and mother of his children, Sharmiece Thomas of Exmore, VA; six friends who were like brothers, Demetric Downing, Venny West, Alfonzo Colemon, Keyon Bibbins, Dontrell George, and Altrevell “Turp” Corbin; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

In the light of the evolving situation with COVID-19 virus, we are making adjustments to adapt to the current health emergency. In order to reduce the spread of the virus in our community, we are limiting the public’s access to our facility. We will continue to serve our families with the utmost dignity, as well as maintain the safety guidelines provided by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Inc. will comply and hold all services private until further notice. We will not have any public viewings in our facility. In an effort to accommodate family and friends, we are posting photos and the funeral/graveside service video of your loved ones on their respective Book of Memory pages on our website, This will allow you to have a lasting memory picture and attend the service virtually. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time and as soon as this matter is resolved, we will resume our normal practices.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of "Skoot". He was a groomsman at my daughter and son in law's wedding. He was such a polite and helpful young man. He was very respectful of our traditions, which to us, speaks volumes of a person's character. We are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
