Deloris Garrison Justice was born on November 8, 1950 in Exmore, Virginia, to the late Judson and Dorothy Christian Garrison. She departed this life on August 24, 2020 at Shore Health and Rehab Center in Parksley, Virginia.

Deloris received her education in the public schools of Northampton County. She was a former Deli Manager at Fresh Pride and Food Lion, an associate at Dollar General, and a production worker at Perdue Farms for several years.
Deloris was a member of Gospel Temple Baptist Church in Melfa, Virginia. She served her church in many capacities, including: the Usher Board, Pastor’s Aide, and as a member of the choir.
Deloris enjoyed shopping and cooking in her spare time. She had a sweet and loving spirit that will be missed by many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, William C. Garrison, Judson Garrison, II, Randolph Gunter, and Emerson Poulson; sister, Corine Helen Clark; and sister-in-law, Mary Lou Garrison.
Deloris leaves to cherish her memory: three children, Marletta A. Ayers, Carlus M. Garrison, and Shawanna L. Garrison-Green; four grandchildren, Lamar J. Garrison, Urikka D. Garrison, Ka’Vrale D. Garrison, and Shawn P. Coston; six great-grandchildren, Qualik, Qanmonte, Marques, Kayden, Sa’Riyah and Jesen; three sisters, Rebecca, Vanessa, and Lucille; eight brothers, Avon, Allen, Curtis, Charles, Ned, Larry, Louis, and Robert; former daughter-in-law, Shawntee’; son-in-law, Teddy; sister-in-law, Bertha Garrison; brother-in-law, Victor Clarke; longtime companion, George “Cornbread” Nock; and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren; other relatives, and friends.
